The data between <b>tape</b> file marks is being overwritten.
To reproduce:

Note: You must do this on a machine with a Seagate CTT8000
EIDE/<b>ATAPI</b> <b>tape</b> drive installed. This device configures as
a pseudo SCSI device, so it uses /dev/*Stp0.

$ echo two | cpio -ocv > /dev/nrStp0
$ echo three | cpio -ocv > /dev/nrStp0

$ cpio -ictv < /dev/nrStp0 (file 'one' should be displayed)
$ cpio -ictv < /dev/nrStp0 (you should see 'two', but actually
'three' is displayed)
