style='font-size:10.0pt'>An Oracle DBA that can lead the technical changes
required and become responsible for the ongoing performance of the globally
distributed Oracle databases. </span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='punctuation-wrap:hanging;text-autospace:ideograph-numeric ideograph-other'><span
style='font-size:10.0pt'>Responsible for tuning and performance of the Oracle
databases and environments</span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='punctuation-wrap:hanging;text-autospace:ideograph-numeric ideograph-other'><span
style='font-size:10.0pt'>Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard
IT techniques, procedures, and criteria, using sound judgment in making minor
adaptations or modifications to accomplish specific projects or routine
administrative duties</span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Developing corrective actions
for all incidents and advising the Teleplan IT Infrastructure Manager of
preventative and improvement measures. </span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>. Assignments shall have
clear and specified objectives as well as instructions on complex features and
possible solutions which require the investigation of a limited number of
variables. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for
application of sound professional judgment. May be responsible for phases of a
single project, or be a participant in a complete project. </span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Has Senior Technical
responsibility for the database environment, giving technical direction to
Application Analysts. </span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Performance at this level
usually required a minimum of 5 to 7 years of related work experience </span></p>

databases</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Back up policy and practice</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Replication and disaster
recovery responsibility</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Oracle Database performance</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Analysis of Application
Performance and improvements</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Upgrade level of Oracle</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Provide technical and
operational support to Teleplan</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Maintain up-to-date set of
operational procedures.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Perform system administration
for database servers.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'> Document Database
structures</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Diagnose and repair any DB
problems.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Perform DB Security and
administrative functions.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Interface with appropriate
vendors when required to remedy system problems.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Give technical support to ALL
Teleplan remote sites.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Report status on all major
projects on a regular basis.</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Implement approved plans
for specific Teleplan site initiatives</span></li>
<li class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>Complete special projects
as assigned by Supervisor.</span></li>
</ol>

style='font-size:10.0pt'>Oracle DBA with over 4 years of experience in: Oracle
Database administration /Oracle Certification. </span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='punctuation-wrap:hanging;text-autospace:ideograph-numeric ideograph-other'><span
style='font-size:10.0pt'>Expertise with ORACLE 9i RAC, Linux, MS Windows 2000,
2003 environments, Shell scripting capability.<br>
Experience with replication software</span></p>

style='font-size:10.0pt'>Degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred / Formal
