[linux] XF86Config -4 vs compaq armada 4150

dobry den
potreboval by som poradit s par vecmi:
moja situacia: notebook compaq armada 4150, cirrus logic | gd 7548,
XFree86 4.0, RH 7.2
1. snazim sa tam dostat rozlisenie 800x600 16bit ale v dolnej casti
displeja mam asi 5mm "rozstraseny" pruh pri 8bit je to v poriadku (a ja
by som samozrejme chcel 16bit). 
2. pri starte xservera sa objavuje (okrem ineho) tato hlaska: Failed to
open catalog, using default messages.
3. obcas sa stane ze pri spusteni napr. xtermu s mc sa na displeji zacnu
"menit" farby  a na konzole odkial sa xserver spusta je hlaska: 
xterm: cannot allocate color gray90
xterm: cannot allocate color cyan3
.....

budem vdacny za kazdu radu.
