man syslog, man syslogd/syslog-ng, man syslog.conf/syslog-ng.conf

a /usr/include/sys/syslog.h (ak mas devel. balicek libc)

v tom poslednom najdes zoznam facilities...

samotne local2.* je vysvetelene v syslog.conf
